Does anyone have the measurements of a 28 Fordor Briggs body, and how much it weighs? I'm not talking about the whole car, but just the body. Thanks, Neil

Neil,
Do not have the exact weight of the body but here are the measurements per "Ford Model A Restoration Manual A-1"
Height: 48-7/8 inches
Length: 93-3/4 inches
Width (at its widest point): apx 52 inches
The book also states that the Fordor Body (2-window) is 782 lbs and the Fordor Body (3-window) is 786 lbs.
Hopefully someone will have more exact figures for you but it is a start.
Merry Christmas.

Thanks Steve.
Does it say if that weight includes the seats?
Does that manuel have the weight of other bodies also?

Neil,
Yes, there are other body weights in the manual. It goes on to say "Weights of Bodies and Extra Equipment" meaning Floorboards and mats but no wheel carrier. Does not mention seats.
It also states that weight of a complete "A" chassis including the Front Bumper Less Rear Fenders is 1650 lbs.
