#42 Tom Wesenberg -
I am like Tom, and for the same reasons. However I like/took the idea two steps further.
While I chose to have one open car (my 1928 Phaeton) and one closed car (my '31 Dlx Coupe), I also like having as much contrast as possible between the two examples of a Ford Model A.
Hence, my first model year of the Model A, (1928) and the last year of the Model A (1931) - two distinctly different body stylings. Besides the contrast of 'open' verses 'closed' car and the styling differences of '28 vs '31, I also included a two seater (Phaeton) and a single seater (Coupe).
While I could only comfortably maintain two Model A's, I wanted to have as much diversity as possible to show the wide breadth of the body/style options available for the Ford Model A.
