How does one install the 1933 grill V8

that's pretty much the only way unless you tape the nut and washer onto a special angled rod or wrench that you can just start the threads from in between the grill bars to then tighten and sinch down.

Thank You, Al -

Ten+ years ago on my '36 half-ton it was an easy chore; i.e., all clear from the bottom. But the '33 has metal blockage halfway+ up from the bottom, as you know.

I've disconnected the top radiator hoses, 'loosened' the radiator and pulled it back towards the flathead; despite, there is still no way to get that V8 connected to the grill bars (I understand that there are opinions of the V8 location; i.e., some say that the V8 should be almost-just-touching the top, others say within five inches of the top.
Online, I've viewed an original '33 assembly line video . . . I see that the V8 had been fastened to the grill bar when the grill unit was being installed on the fenderless front end.
And the front fenders screws are not the only item that must be missing regarding this V8 installation! My son 55, and I being 79 are perplexed!

Thank You, Al!

The repro emblems can pull apart. So I use a small 'O' ring as a washer under the emblem nut. The emblem studs are weakly fastened . Newc
