I have a 59a out of a 37 ford on a rolling chassis i am tryn to get fired up to sell what is a quick way to wire it 6v any help would be greatly appreciated

Its is all stock just need to know how to wire it up 6v positive to the coil and generator there is not body on the frame so i have no ignition source or starter switch just wanting to get started to video it running to sell it

Do you have the starter switch on the steering box? Run large thick cable fom the neg side of the batteryto one terminal on the switch and the same type camle from the switchto the starter. Run wire from the neg side of the bat to a coil resister and then to the coil. You need to make a loose connectoin in the coil wire system so you can shut it off. You also need a big ground wire from the pos side of the batery to ground. If you don'thave the starter switch, get one or a solinoid.

So andy i found the the steering column drop with the switch on the switch has three studs on it says battery/gage/coil where do i put the wire going tothe starter thanks

The column switch just turns on the power to the ignition. You need a solinoid or the original starter switch to make the starter turn. I would buy a solinoid and a push button starter switch. The starter button just activates the solinoid and the solinoid connects the starter to the battery.

You need to get a wiring diagram. You can find one at vanpeltsales.com, service bulletins. Don't take this the wrong way but anyone who ownes one of these cars should have wiring diagrams. Without them you may as well be blindfolded.
