How do I remove the rumble seat side upholstery panels

The upholstery panels on the sides of the rumble seat in my ‘28 roadster need to be removed in order to install the top rest/grab handles.
Any tips on this? Thanks

 

[P.S.]

You remove the backrest of the front seat and slide them forward into the passenger cabin.
