I am trying to get my 36 Tudor on the road without balancing the national debt. Is there someone that rebuilds the shocks reasonably? Or is there someone that sells them refurbished??
Reasonably is a relative term. I once bought some reproduction shocks from M&S. They were more "reasonable" than getting old cores rebuilt. They did not hold up well and are now basically junk. I feel like I wasted my money.
I would highly recommend Bill Wzorek, 71 Cardinal Way, Florence, MA 01062 Ph#: 1-413-586-5324, email: wpwz@comcast.net
Bill took over Louis Trinque's shock rebuilding business several years ago and Louis worked with Bill to teach him the tricks of the trade. Bill rebuilt a set of '35 shocks for me last year (to replace the M&S junkers) and they are very well done. Apple Hydraulics would be my second choice. M&S would never get a chance to touch my shocks. JMO
