I need to fix the steering in my 31 SW but not sure what length steering shaft I have the way things got swapped around in the past, but I am trying to keep it on the road as long as possible, would someone please tell me what length horn rod goes with what length steering shaft.

Most parts books show how to measure the shaft, here is a easy way, your box need to have the plate on the bottom now the plate is what your light switch hooks to. take a piece of wire put it through the shaft when it flush on the top add 1 1/4 from the plate mark it pull the wire out and measure it and that will be the length you want,
