Horn Rod Disassembly/Assembly

I have a nice light switch lever that is very nice (not attached to a rod). I have a horn rod with this piece attached that is not so nice. How do you take the rod apart from the lever and install a different lever?

Is this some type of press fit?

It's a rolled edge that holds it is like a tube rivit except thaqt the tube it REAL LONG.

Your going to have to unroll the crimp to take it off and re-crimp it back on after the swap.
