I have always wondered, and have never been able to find, the correct color of the steering wheel and the correct color of the horn button for the
41 deluxe coupe.
I have at present a gold button and a black steeering wheel. I belive that with my wood grain finish, the steering wheel should be a light tan color.
If so, what kind of paint would I use, and what kind of preparation is involved?
My wife got me a new steering wheel a couple of years ago, so I have been using it. That means that it has soil from the hands in it, and maybe the paint would not stick.
I do have the orginal wheel, but I can't remember what color was on it if any.
