hood support arms

does anyone know or have apic of how many hood props go on a 39 ford pickup hood. They sell them in pairs but my hood only shows location for one THANKS FOR ANY INFO
 
They also sell pairs for 39 (standard) passenger cars. I have written the suppliers and get no response. Another indicator of their true motivation, profit. If they truly cared to supply correct / authentic, perhaps they might fake a possible interest?
Be careful that the supports they sell are correct. The ones advertised for 39 standards are not. Again, even though they are advertised to be correct...
 
There is only one hood support on my '39 PU; left side, mounted to a lip low on the firewall. The support is a two part brace which must be lifted slightly to release the hood so it can be closed. Totally mechanical and I do not believe there is a spring on the support
