Hood Problem

Put a Brassworks rad on my 1914, however there is a space beginning where the slope begins downward, approx a 1/4 inch at the bottom.
Hood closes but the 0 to 1/4 inch space on both sides is odvious.
Can anyone suggest what is wrong?

Try slipping a 1/2 inch washer under the front body mounts and see if it becomes smaller.

First try to adjust the rod that goes from the firewall to the top of the radiator, that should solve the problem.

My '25 Coupe has that problem. I shimmed body the 1/2 inch mentioned. That fixed the hood fit but caused my hood latches to be too short. Had to countersink hood shelf wood deeper to get proper latch length and tension.
