Hood latch spring 46 1 1/2 ton

Anybody know where I can get the spring or what works for a spring that controls the hood latch on a 42-46 truck -not the safety catch the main hood latch -I have no idea what they even look like as mind is missing and they don’t seem to be available after market —Thanks

Because hoods seldom rust, I have ended up with quite a few here. I will take a look tomorrow. I think there's a coil spring with two eyes.

Here's what I used on my truck based woodie. Looks like 3" from the spring drawers at the local ace hardware. It had round eyes but I opened them up to hooks. It snaps shut nicely and operates as it should.
