This is a common procedure for a automotive machine shop. The piston pin holes need to be absolutely straight and the clearance is critical. They use a Pin Honing Machine that has long mandurals and stones to keep the holes straight and round. They will also have good measuring equiptment to measure within Tenths of Thousands so you will wind up with the proper fit. This should not cost too much and is money well spent. Pins too lose will result in a noisey engine and too tight can result in the pins sezing in the piston which can evedulently result in worn pin holes and a noisey engine.
I would also have them check the pin holes in the rods and also check the rods for alignment.
I also use my machanist to hone the king pin bushings in front spindles. This is far superior then using a reamer.
You can not be assured you will have straight round holes using a brake wheel cylinder hone.
Again, just my opinion,
Chris.
