Special Coupe Frank Well-known member Sep 18, 2010 #3 Ford always used a "fin & tube" radiator, going back as far as the Model A of 1903...

Special Coupe Frank Well-known member Sep 19, 2010 #6 Chrysler Corp used cellular ("honeycomb") radiators into the late 1940's... and I'm pretty sure Dad's '30 Chevy has a honeycomb as well. They are quiter a bit heavier than a fin & tube radiator of the same physical dimensions...

Rowdy BANNED Sep 19, 2010 #7 I had a 30-31 honeycomb A radiator last year. Traded it for nice left rear fender for the delivery at Chickashae. Both of us were very happy with the trade, so it worked out well. Rod
