I was wondering if anyone clould help me understand why I loose prime overnight. If I give the carb a squirt of gas it will fire right up and be good for a whole day. With or without the choke this happens.

The float bowl may have a slow leak. Its hard to tell externally due to the fuel slowly drips down into the manifold and evaporates. You will have to take the top off and look for fuel stains where the bowl attaches to the base. If it has been leaking for a while there should be some stains somewhere.

your losing gas out of the bowl,pin hole,bad gaskets,bad PV gasket,need work to find it. ken ct. Put just the bowl section on bench with newspapers under it and fill bowl with gas you should see where its leaking out.
