Historical document of a different kind

Love to go through the box lots after the stash is brought home from auction. This garage had a tune up cabinet I needed and stuff was in it including an early repair manual. Typically very grubby, but still useable. This treasure also grubby and didn't copy well but mainly ledgible. My guess since damage to both sides, probably a rollover? Maybe some kid's bad memory, guess what happened dad? Too bad no date.

Pretty cool Barry, thanks for sharing it. Can you imagine what that kind of damage would cost on a modern car? I guess a new '38 was about $600-ish. That bill is almost $140 if you look at the fine print in the bottom left. That car musta been pretty trashed.

Oh wait I see the figures on the back of the paper. Copied it then used the magnifier to read the $7.10 was for ":window" $3.50 "installing" and $2.75 for "running". How much business could a guy get to get a non running Flathead "running" at $2.75 a pop? My 15 year old bought this Audi that doesn't run, asfar as I am concerned something about a 10 foot pole, could I get it done for $3.00? School starts Wednesday so she has plans...
