I was wondering , who has had experience with snyders 2 heads 6 to 1 and 55 to 1 and other heads and other ways to pick up speed now that I have a mitchell od exhaust? B carb? etc Steve Diaz 708 373 8507
 
Well, I heard enough good things about the 6:1 that I bought one.
I'll let you know next week when I install it.

Not to pick on you, just so ya know.... Guys who are tech savvy, and may have the answer, might not be looking at Swap meet. A post on the forum should gain a response. Enjoy your day.
 
You will not gain speed with more HP alone. Expect the additional horsies to pull more gearing. With HP and gearing you will get the additional MPH.
 
boy, the extra speed can be real good.
now i have a "be careful" story; a model a friend of mine, had just bought a pickup 29, standard A engine, so he decided to put a Snyder's head on. went on a tour w/ the club, and he was passing everyone, uphill 60, dynamite man, wearing a big bug eating grin, wellll, he blew a piston thru the wall, now he has a "B" engine with a Snyder head, boy is he a happier camper now.
