Hi everyone! I just joined this forum today. I don't currently own a T (unless you count my 1914 Touring...but that's a 1:18 scale diecast!). I have, however, always been a fan of them as long as I can remember and now that my youngest kid's almost on her own I am finally in the position to do something about owning one very soon. I also retired from the military 1-1/2 years ago so there will be no more surprise Iraq/Afghanistan deployments to take me off-project. First I have to build a pole barn and THEN I'll be looking for a solid, restorable chassis/powertrain for a speedster project! I'd like to find a '19-'24 chassis but I'll take anything from '15 to '27. From that point it'll be a nickel/dime project that I anticipate as taking 4-6 years to have on the road.
My name's Tom and I live in West Michigan (Hesperia, about 30 mi N of Muskegon). If anyone knows of solid parts laying around in my neck of the woods please let me know. Nothing has to run as long as the cores are solid. Thanks in Advance!
