Hey folks,
I'm new to the group. I met 41panelmark this weekend at our local parade, where he successfully lobbied me to join the group. Looking forward to learning and sharing where possible.

Welcome to the Group. A wealth of information from these Guys is available for the asking!

Thanks for the greetings.

I've got a '51 F-4 I picked up a couple years back to haul compost and such around our property. It's mostly original, 6v system, 45k miles, with dump. I replaced the WMs with the help from some folks at FTE (I see a few of them in here too), new rubber for the road, and rebuilt the fuel pump in '12. Otherwise, nothing has changed on her. She has a little rust on the fenders, a few cracked windows, broken radio and rotted rubber seals around doors/fenders.

Have the means and supplies to rewire. But without a barn/shop I've been waiting for the weather to improve and spring projects to wrap up before jumping into the project. Now that I'm finding more time I plan on jumping into the rewire job soon.

Last week I replaced the rotted bed with reclaimed oak. Not spec, but functional and looks sharp (and the price was right).

I'll push along some pics when I get to the home system.

The prior owner picked it up from a family farm in Steamboat. He used it around his farm for several years (hauling llamas and hay) before moving to Fort Collins.

That's about the size of her. Thanks again for the greetings and best to all.

Welcome aboard! Neat old Ford you have there. Always thought I would like to own a dump truck. We have a 100 acre farm in an adjoining county.

That's a good looking truck you have there. My '49 is an F4 with a dump under the flatbed also. It will be real handy if I ever get it finished :).

Welcome to the FordBarn. there are a lot of us that have F Series trucks, from F-1's up, so you are in good company.:)

Big trucks are an addiction. I've got 3 '40 1 1/2 tons and every now and again I catch my self looking at another one.
