2024 Hershey Swap - October 8 - 11

As a long gone dear friend once said.............."Tne nuts are gathering"

Hoping for great weather as we had today when arriving.

Rain over night -- some missed it as it was not alot.
Clear skies and then a typical Hershey breeze. Not as much as when they have to announce to the participants about tying down their tents and equipment. Saw 72 on the bank thermometer. Looking like a little cooler on Tuesday.

Sorry no pictures.
But, on the Chocolate Field South there was a nice driving 1941 Ford Convertible for sale for $19500.
There was a nice 1924 Model T Coupe for sale for $23000.
And in one of the car corral tents there was a nice 1941 Ford Convertible for sale for $39900.
The prices are all over the map.
Again -- sorry no pictures.

But the weather was nice and the foot traffic lite. The announcer said that there had been a lot of cancelations due to the hurricane issues in the southeastern part of the USA.

Here are some pictures of the Woodies for sale at the auction. Thanks to the gentleman at the Early V8 tent for the tip about them. Descriptions are in the RM website. The 49 has a Ford 302, the 40 has a hot rodded flatly and I believe one has a 327.

Some shots from the Hershey flea market over the past two days. Most V8-related.

Bored&Stroked: If you are talking about the 1933 Ford -- no. It had the car show credentials on it. The 1932 Ford above, belonged to Iron Trap Garage. They were staying at our hotel.
Interesting to watch their YouTube videos.
