There wre over fifty Fordbarners there, enjoying meeting one another again as well as the chili, cooked up by Ken Ehrenhofer and the MARC office staff.

I broke away from my swap meet space for a few minutes and stopped by and enjoyed meeting a few of my fellow MARC members. The Chili was great! Somehow I missed the sign in book. I did not realize there was a sign in book until I was talking with some MARC members on the showfield on Saturday. I was hoping to meet Ken Ehrenhofer but missed him so I left a card for one of the nice ladies in the booth to give to him.

Ken, Sorry I missed you but thanks again for the great lunch!

Hi to all,:D
First of all, Thanks to Rainmaker Ron who started all this many years ago at his tent and to Bruce Adams for inspiring MARC to continue the tradition! Ron and Bruce were in attendance and it was beautiful day! Thank you!:D
Thanks to Vince Scalabrino for carrying all the cooking equipment and for doing some of the cooking. Vince is a board member who is in charge of Membership and Public Relations so he was instrumental in getting this together. Also the cooks were Sue Ryan, Phyllis Pease, Vince and myself while the MARC office ladies were kept busy helping all the customers purchasing MARC books and shirts etc. It was a real team effort.
I was sure glad Sue and Phyllis were there as doing all the cooking and serving was more than I remembered (short term memory loss) and there efforts were GREATLY APPRECIATED!:D
All in all it was beautiful day as the weather was perfect and to get together with the Ford Barners and all the Model A Nuts (enthusiasts)
made it a very special get together. Thanks to all for coming!
Speaking of Car nuts, one of the Fordbarners (carnut) even brought a wonderful cake for all to share. So we must say thanks to Mrs Carnut for baking and Mr. Carnut for bringing!!!!:D:D:D
Thanks to all, it made Hershay a little more special this year. I got a chance to speak to Allen Lepore also and we all must take a moment to remember his Father of A&L Specialties who recently passed away. And to all Model A folks who we lost this past year.
We are all here for a little while and being a part of the Model A community has made it a wonderful experience. Let us all enjoy a great year until we meet again.
Thanks,
Ken:)

Thanks Bruce for your role in continuing the tradition. The first Chili Shootout Shirts appeared at least ten years ago and the idea to host all the internet gang preceeded that. It is a real thrill for me to be a part of history and to visit each year with the old and new "Chili gang." Here is hopeing we are all there to do it again next year!

I see spider was there from NZ, As a inspector in the local force WAS he on a case ?? or just spending tax payers money?? Richard we expect a report for Rebel "A" news letter.

Chili fest was terrific. I ate my chili and a piece of terrific cake as well. I had 'borrowed' an insulated cup with a lid from Roger V. to take some back to my wife who was 'watching the store' while I was out goofin' off. As I was leaving some one kindly set another piece of that great cake on the lid of my wifes chili cup. When I got back to our site, the wife really liked the chili. If you see her, don't mention the cake. Something happened to it on the way back. I musta lost it in the crowd.
