The cheapest way to see Hershey is to rent a space as a vendor, bring a bunch of old parts that you want to get rid of and sell them. You can sleep, grill, eat on the field and there are "Facilities". This solution involves a certain amount of inconvenience, but with good weather it isn't bad. I did this for three days last year , 2015

I park my van over at the Wendys on tuesday and weds- cost is zero................
there are local hotels with large lots where you can do the same.
this advice is for people who want to spend nothing on accommodations............
I do eat at Wendys, Red Robbin and Dunkin, which encompasses one large parking lot.
