Help with jack ID please

Been sorting through my collection of Ford tools and found this jack I need help with. I've seen similar jacks advertised on Ebay as being Ford jacks but this one has no Ford script marking. All I can find is a faint marking at the top that ends with a number 8 and "No 16" on the side. Any help ? Thanks

Interesting...I don't think, as far as I know, that any Jacks came with the FORD markings. All jacks in the Model A/AA era, as far as I know, came from outside sources.

This one is not one of the many jacks used during the Model A/AA era.

Some knowledgeable jack collector must know something.

Looks simular in some waus to the TT jack, but they did not have the fliptop. I have a bunch on non A jacks to ID over the course of time. Rod

interesting Don that you have them with Ford script on the receiver
I have never seen one
I have the 1931 Blueprint and it dosnt have the script either
maybe its only used on the early 28s?
here are three of the smaller version used from 28-31
now im thinking ,maybe all three of these are wrong also? :(
none have the script,
this information should be put in the big truck section of the JS

I have also seen at least one while doing an Ebay search that had the Ford script on the reciever. It's also marked Walker Manufacturing, Racine Wisconsin on the opposite side. Maybe it's for a Ford farm tractor and not a car or a truck ? Mine does not have any of that although comparing the construction it wouldn't surprise me to find that mine is a Walker. Here is one of them http://www.ebay.com/itm/300919008204?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I bought my jack like this in the 70's on the advice of a couple old timers that told me it is correct for my 29 Chevy 1 1/2 ton truck. I also bought the jack handle, which has a slot for the split rim, and the other end has a hex hole for the lug nuts. I haven't looked at the handle in years, but as I recall the hex hole was offset a little.
