Help please, GPS speedometer by TEMU??

Have you used the gage set that TEMU sells? they offer the usual 6 gages which includes a tach and a GPS linked speedometer for $127.21. The speedo, which is my main interest reads in kilometers but that is easily interpreted with usage.

This is a terrific bargain if they will hold up. I think it would be an easy cost effective way to gain a speedo for a T5 transmission in my Flathead Ford V8 driven 28 A Roadster pick up.

We played with the GPS speedo in our cell phones and it works well, even recording the mileage but I want a gage in my dash. Holding a phone while driving is illegal.

Do you have any experience with these TEMU speedometers?

I can't imagine that anyone has. Can you post a link to this product please?

Temu has raised a lot of their prices and charge shipping on almost every item, not worth the hassle anymore. I returned several junk items(and got credit or was told to keep item). Better to shop where you can get support for what you buy.

I ordered a set from e bay for $133 with senders . 11 months and no problems. I only installed the speedo , fuel and volt gauges . In fact I ordered a second set fot the other car

Nice video Mart. I've always thought of you as a peaceful gentleman and then...you smash the poor innocent tachometer with a hammer!!! LOL, good job, I would have done the same. Your traffic reminds me how happy I am to live where there is only 3k people in the whole county. Traffic is...none.

I bought a gps speedo off ebay. Cost me £30. It's an analog type and works great. Made in China. Check on ebay and see what you can find. Digital ones are also available.

I made a video.

Mart,

Great video, very informative. I have one of the tachometers and have used it on the car, just to check shift points of the Merc-O-Matic, but I have never run across the GPS speedometer.

I don’t remember which one I used to check my speedometer with, but it was on an older Android phone and it was free with an occasional advertisement on startup. Just google free speedometer apps.

I checked mine by one of those speed control signs the highway department posts where folks are apt to speed. If those signs are correct mine is within about one m.p.h. of being spot on.

I used the Temu GPS speedometer and it works ok. Comes in MPH display. Not expensive but you get what you pay for. DO NOT USE THE CELL PHONE APP FOR TEMU. Use the site on your computer. You can use a cell phone adapter to power it.
