HELP- New to model A's

Most of these cars, especially A Model Fords . . . . DRIP / LEAK oil.

Presently . . . we own a very late 1931 Ford that DOES NOT emit telltale fluids. It's weird! First and only Model A that I've ever owned that doesn't drip like a pig.

The car's carburetor as acquired was a Zenith that used to as expected flood out and weep gasoline all over the floor. Per family tradition, that thing was quickly yanked off being replaced by a sweet running, freshly overhauled Marvel-Schebler carb. After that, I don't even bother opening the hood and shutting off the fuel flow. It's bone . . . no leaks at all.

Unless the leak is somehow extreme, just keep checking fluids and top off as needed. Also too, should a person have some annoying relatives or miscreant in-laws, then just drive the drippy Model A Ford over and park it in their driveway from time to time. After all, it's been known since the beginning of recorded history that it is natural for most A Model Ford cars to mark their territory with lubricants and fuel liquids as needed.
