WHOA, Kid, are you tryin' to git us ORGANIZED? Maybe it will rub off on me, I keep tellin' the Dog:cool:, "TOMORROW WE GOTTA' GIT ORGANIZED"!!
Today was better, DIDN'T have to git my morning started, slept 'til 2:30 P.M & didn't feel GUILTY! (Retirement is a blessing!)

Maybe list the level of mechanical ability the poster has so the answers can me more or less specific.

Title - It doesn't work like it used to

1 2014
2 old overweight male
3 vasectomy, hernia repaired,
4 all parts are original
5 tried to take pictures but the camera broke
6 me - in NH
7 changed underwear this morning

I think that overs most of it

Sorry I couldn't help myself! :p

A follow up post by the OP explaining how the issue was finally resolved is always nice but often missing from "help" threads.

Hey Mitch great idea on people posting car problems on the barn.I feel many people have a hard time explaining their particular problem especially newcomers. So if we had a form with stock questions and "yes," "no" "maybe", it would help, or something like that. thanks latecomer

Hi Mitch,

Maybe add a few "simple" questions, like:

A. "Search": Are you aware that both this Forum & the Ahooga Forum have a "Search" area that already can probably answer maybe 95% of the Model A related questions asked?

B. For Fuel Related Problems: With an empty tank, did the Model A owner look inside his/her 80+ year old tank for rust on sides or bottom, or dirt on bottom .... & does he have an "in-tank" screen to filter same .... maybe with tank debris & no in-tank screen, this could be the cause for 95% of fuel related & carburetor clogging problems.

C. Overheating Problems: When was the last time one "thoroughly" flushed out or cleaned his/her 80+ year old engine & radiator .... maybe the cause of 95% of overheating problems.

D. Did He/She Try a "New" Spare "Heatproof" Condenser:

Over the past 25+ years, if one wants to do some highly technical historical Model A Forum research, one can find that maybe 95% of all "responses" for "any" Model A problem, on the other Ahooga Forum & this Forum, (whether the problem is leaking tire tubes, windshield wiper does not work, door pins won't come out, broken spark plugs, etc., etc.), someone will "always" ask the exact same "100% Cure-All" question: ............. Did you try changing your condenser? LOL

good one H.L. on the search function
i made that #1

I don't mind seeing another thread on a topic already mentioned. One could argue that this whole site is not necessary as the information on A's is already out there from sometime in the past.

I do think that this list should be a sticky.
