Help installing windows on 1936 Ford Tudor sedan

I hope someone could tell me in what order the parts go in the rear side panel to install regulator and glass. does the channel go on the window and then hook to the regulator or what? Are the front doors the same as the quarter panels as far as the order of things?
I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks, Val

Put the regulator down into the quarter first. Don't attach it yet. The sash channel should be mounted to the glass. Wrestle the glass into the quarter. Hook the regulator arms into the glass sash channel. Then mount the regulator to the quarter. It's a little tricky.

Very similar for the doors. If you have a Carpenter catalog, there is a step by step for the doors. Good info.

Thank you for the info. I thought that was the way, but when I drooped the glass down with the channel on it , it came loose. I need to tighten up the channel on the glass a little bit. Also, I believe that both the front and rear windows slide back for venting. Is this correct? Thanks again!

Yes. Both front and rears go back and then down. I put a small bead of windshield urethane as well as the replacement rubbers on mine. Both between the channel and rubber and the rubber and glass. Let dry over night and you'll have a heck of a time ever getting them apart again.
