Well the original gas gauge no longer works in my car, and leaks out a little bit of gas, so I decided to finally change it. I bought the tools and a new repro gas guage assembly from snyders. Also bought the neoprene or rubber float due to the ethanol fuel. Is the install as straightforward as it looks?
Do I just wait until it has almost no gas in it, remove the old one, then put the new one in?
