When I was in high school we lowered the drive-on grease rack across the wheel when we aired it up.
We did that, too.

Hey all my name is Scott ,I'm hoping you all can shed some knowledge on me about where to get started looking for numbers to identify it properly.
Replace that windshield with safety glass. The engine number is stamped just below the head on the driver’s side. It should begin with AA, but if it’s Canadian it might start with CA. (I’m not sure about that, but it seems I read that somewhere.) The engine number might give a clue as to approx. mfg date.
As someone above mentioned, the engine number will give you an idea of at least when the engine was manufactured. That may or may not correspond to when the truck was manufactured as "back in the day" it was common to just swap engines when needed rather than rebuild the one in the vehicle. But if the engine number matches the frame number then you have a "numbers matching" vehicle!I found the number it is Canadian. you were right CA was the code. Got her running today too. what a machine not safe to drive by any stretch of the imagination.
