Help Identifying A Parts

hello everyone,
This is a really cool website and I've seen a lot of great cars on here. Very knowledgeable! I've recently purchased a 37 Ford pickup that I'm turning into a Rat Rod. Along with the 37 I got what I think is a 28 Model A frame, and rolling chassis, including the enclosed drive shaft, rear end and front end, and a set of 4 19 inch wheels. How can I tell what years these really are? The numbers on the frame were ground off. I'll post some pics in a few hours when I get home. Thanks

Thanks for the sarcasm?? here is the frame with my 37 cab on it. Any "real" help would be appreciated.

1928/1929 based on the raised radiator mounting boss. Wheels look more like 21" then 19" but the picture ws too blurry when I enlarged it to tell for sure.

thanks guys. I was figuring it was a 28 but not just really sure. I do want to say though that I do not plan on using any of the model A parts for my rat rod. Just think it would be a sin. lol. So I believe I will be selling the parts to someone who would use them for a resto project. Also, I do believe the rims are 21's as you said. again thanks for the help.

I appreciate the advice. I'm very familiar with that forum and killbillet as well. I was gathering info from here because I do not plan on using any of the Model A parts as they were a throw in with the 37 ford I bought. So to clarify, I'm using my 37 frame, cab and parts to build the rat rod and the A parts I will be selling to someone who needs them for their resto. Also, any info on the rear end in these?

Got it,

Do you have any larger piCs of the cross member, the radiator mounting area, and how it is attached to the frame?

Interesting thread.

311Rulz started his message by complimenting this site and said that he does not want the Model A rolling chassis under a body that he wants to use. He is asking for information so that he can sell the properly identified chassis to someone who could use it for a restoration or other use. I appreciate his approach and wish him well with his sale and with his vehicle.

I must apologize to 311rulzz. I was sarcastic because I assumed this was going to start the usual comments people make when someone posts about making a rat rod. I think I misread that he wanted to use the model A frame with the truck to make a rat rod. Personally I like them but it seems most don't here.
