Help Identify Ford Rear End

[Jerry Kzoo]

Hello all,

I am trying to help a gentleman identify a Ford rear end for an old Victorian Buggy he is working on. It is like nothing I have seen before and I thought maybe someone here might have seen one like it before.

Thanks in advance for your help as always!!

Weren't all T's straight cut bevel gears?

[Drive Shaft Dave]

Yes, they were straight cut gears. I'm thinking Ford Anglia.

English Ford Model Y. Not very common here but plentiful in England. 1930's
They look like a midget 1934 Ford.

[RUNNERBUN]

Definitely not Model T.

Interesting stuff on the Model Y

Wikipedia
"Even by the standards of the time, the UK-built Ford 8, like its major competitor the Austin 7, was found noteworthy for its "almost unbelievable lack of brakes.""

To all that responded: The gentleman that needed the info wanted to say thanks. You gave him more info in a day than he was able to get on his own in years!

The knowledge on this forum is the best.
