This is in reference to an earlier posting by me entitled - "Show Me Your Tool Boxes/Tool Chests/Trunks". I was fortunate today to pick up an old automobile touring trunk in great condition and priced under $40.00. I'll use this in my '46 pickup bed.
Just need help to identify the trunk and find some hardware to complete it. Apparently I need hasps, or drawbolts. I've done some searches for trunk hardware and all I come up with is plated hardware. Hope someone can direct me to a source for stainless steel trunk hardware.
I've attached a photo of the trunk and hope it helps. Dimensions are 31-1/2" Long x 15" High x 15-1/4" Deep. Top has rounded corners.
