Help ID this Twolite

I am having difficulty getting lenses to fit the Twolite buckets that came with my '30 Model A Coupe. I thought they were correct buckets for the car, but lenses I have, don't fit. They are too small in diameter. The lenses I have are: Diameter 7 7/8, Design# 71122, Pat# 1887107. I am told the lenses I describe are for a '30, but yet don't fit. I'm lost.

Some one recently posted about Dodge bros.? used a twolite bucket that were very similar to the A lights. The trim ring also looks too wide.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say the buckets you have are for a '32, but those don't look like '32 buckets to me.

32 lights are larger in diameter than 30-31 lights so that is not what they are.

He said that the lenses that he had were too small, for the buckets, so maybe they are '32 buckets.

I measured a light and the bucket is 8 5/8" across where the ring fits and the
ring is 9 1/16" at the widest part where it mates to the bucket and 7 7/8" ID where the lens fits. Can you post a picture of your ring with the lens in it ???

The lens fits in the headlight rim, could this be the problem?

It looks like you have the correct bucket ,but the wrong lens
the lens is approx 8 1/2 in across the angle of the photo makes it appear 8 1/4 but its 8 1/2

Tom, If you measure the part of the lens that protrudes through the
ring it is 7 7/8" . The lens I looked at actually has 7 7/8 cast into
the glass.
