So mine not sure why the column shifter is stuck? I've hung on it and it will not move, disconected the linkage to the trans and still not moving. Am I going to be able to repair this??
Please help!!

Thanks,
Antigua

It's not bent , I would like to find schematics on steering column but haven't had any real luck.
It just won't move into other positions

Antigua, sign yourself up at thelincolnforum.net forums. Lots of expertise there on the slabside Lincolns, someone there should be able to help. I have a 62 also, they were quite a unique car in their day and each model year has many little differences than the next. Lots of changes through the production years and strange ways of doing things that the engineers seemed to have free reign no matter the cost or weight. The glovebox door alone weighs 7 pounds!

Modeleh,
Thank you for the advise I'll do that! I noticed that about the lincoln when I bought the car the person had two so I leave the second one and one is a 62' the other 63' but I've notice that little thing here and there move around or not there I had thought it was because of the difference in years? Guess not.
Hey thanks again,
Antigua
