HELP 1933 Ford 5 window Coupe
Does anyone have pictures of the floor sill area of a 1933 Ford 5 Window coupe at the "B" pillar showing what holes are used to bolt down the body?

Are you having issues with the subrail? Is it a repo subrail? I can take some photos in the morning.

Quite a while ago I replaced the sub rail and cannot find my pictures of which holes were used and which type of bolts were used at the B pillar. There is a group of 3 then 1 hole about 3 inches forward are they all used? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

The subrails I installed did not have the holes in the correct location, one hole was but the other one was too far forward. I had to drill the rear hole in the correct location. This was a bit of a challenge because the body was in pieces and it was hard to convince myself that this "new" subrails could have the hole pattern wrong. So I mounted the cowl section on the frame, then the back section and doors and spot welded the doors in place. Sure enough, the subrail holes were not in the correct location, but or course the frame holes were correct! I back drilled the frame holes and everything fit perfect. No idea why the subrail holes are located in the wrong position, but they were on mine. Will get some photos of mine today so you can compare.

Photos:
The first photo is the passenger side, the open hole to the right is the hole I was originally attempting to use. The best landmark for the correct location may be the three frame holes below the pillar.

The second photo is looking down on the inside, the hole that was missing on my subrail is the rear one with the nutplate. The subrail also need to be cut to fit the contour of the frame!

The third photo is the driver side, again looks like the three holes in the frame are a good landmark (the door is covering the actual pillar hole).

Forth & fifth photos are passenger side laying on my back looking up.

Sixth photo is passenger side (with multiple car projects intertwined).

I had the same issues with a set of subrails too. Holes for b pillar were off but other holes were correct..Had to mark holes with a scribe from inside rails and redrill..Not a big problem.
