Hello to all. I'm new to the forum and hope to learn a lot and have some fun here. I don't have a car yet... but have recently picked up a Model A engine (shortblock) and am looking to have some fun trying to get it running... I am looking at it as a learning process before getting a car...

Greetings and Salutations!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the forum. While you're passing time waiting for that special A, "Ya wanna buy a Grit"??????? :D

Welcome to the. Best Model A site ever! There are several experts on here just waiting for your questions. Fire away and have fun! Wayne

Welcome, get some catalogs from some of the vendors. They have great info and will let you estimate the cost to do what you want to do. There are several books that are very helpful. Enjoy.

Get Mac's catalogue for sure! It far exceeds all others! Wayne

The Barn is the greatest place to learn all you want to know about the A. You will quickly see who knows their stuff... (it's not me; I ask the more basic stuff). Some even have a B.S. in Model A from Ford Barn University's School of Hard Knocks.

Welcome aboard. It took me several years to find my ist Model A

What I have learned hear has helped not only in buying the car but in getting it ready for the roard..

Good Luck.

Welcome. Virtually all of us have been bitten by the Model A bug and we enjoy sharing our knowledge (much is it gained from the school of hard knocks), our triumphs, and our failures (hopefully you won't make the same mistakes we've made). Ask us any question and I will bet someone on this forum has the answer.
