Hello Aussi and NZ members

I wondered if anyone could say what interest there might be in a rather nice 1948 Ford Prefect ? This is a scaled down version of a 1936 Ford 4 Dr.

I want to find the car a good home! And maybe visit down under.

David I would say limited as there are a lot down here still in a unrested state .The v8s are the ones they want .

I would confirm Ted's comment. They are not difficult to find here and the cost of freight alone would make it completely uneconomic.

And they are "UGLY" & look nothing like a US 36 v8 Ford !!!
They make great beach & river buggys for goin fishin .............

Thanks Folks

Thanks for the helpful replies.

I still want to travel in your two great nations sometime!

The little Prefect has a certain charm and reminds me of the James Herriot movies. James never drive a car that looks like a 36 Ford....nothing like it.

The cars he drove were UGLY!....but still vintage Fords.

I thought they were a bit like the v8 pilot and it has a certain appeal, made great little boat motors, You would be welcome down here any time .
