Hopefully I'll soon reupholster the seat and panels in my early '31 CC PU. At the same time I would like to make the interior roof material correct, because I'm pretty sure it's not correct now.s'
At this time, just above the original roof bows is a very thin sheet of nice plywood. It holds the roof shape very well as the top materials lay on it, but viewed from the inside of the cab it just doesn't come across as authentic.
I contacted LeBaron Bonney in hopes of getting a fabric sample of what should actually be just above the bows. They sent a very poor photocopy of a drawing that had no relevant information on it, and they didn't send a fabric sample
I'm surprised how difficult it is to find this information on-line.
What type of material goes just above the wood bows? Does someone have a photo?
