What is the difference between the '28-'29 and '30-'31 Twolite headlights? Thanks

shape is different, on the passenger cars the 30- 31 are made of stainless steel. The 28- 29 are steel and are plated. Head light lens and reflectors are different as well between the two. Quickest difference is the shape.

Beginning in February 1929 to the end of production, the
head lamps had "TWOLITE” lenses. Check to see that
the '"TWOLITE” design head lamp lenses match.. There
are two types, one with an around the Ford script
as a series of dots, (from February '29 until the end of production)
the other as a solid line. (From July '29 until the end of production) Vehicles without
cowl lamps should have two bulb head lamps, a 3cp at
the lop and a double filament 21/2lcp or 32/2lcp in the
center. Vehicles with factory installed cowl lamps should
have head lamps with single bulb reflectors with double
filament bulbs.
