Hi all,

So my stock replacement (w/turn signals) wiring harness has arrived.
I have a question regarding the headlight wiring ID.
Three wires:
-Black w/Red Tracers
-Black w/Green Tracers
-Black w/Yellow Tracers

Which is which???
Lo-Beam/Hi-Beam/Ground

Please help!

thanks all!

No wire for ground, it's grounded thru the fixtures / frame.

Per Snyder's catalog:

A-11647 MAIN LIGHTING HARNESS
Insert contact plate into headlamp switch
Yellow/Black- Parking lamp in headlight
Green/Black- High beam
Red/Black- Low beam
Green- Stop light switch to rear lamp
Black- Tail lamp (bottom bulb)
Double Yellow- Generator cut-out
Yellow- Horn
Blue/Yellow- Horn

What is the "parking lamp in the headlight?"
Is this referring to the turn signal? If so, there are already wires dedicated to the turn signals.

Thanks, and keep the help coming!

Here's a diagram.

The big question is if you ordered the correct harness. If you have parking bulbs in the headlamps, above the main bulb, you harness seems to be correct. If you have cowl lamps, then you probably have the wrong harness. Those harnesses are available several ways, using the cowl lamps as turn signals, or using separate bumper mounted front signals.

OK, so don't crucify me. I'm going with aftermarket headlights, smaller hot rod style. There are no parking lamps in them, and I'm not running cowl lights. (Although I totally dig them!)

I can just cap them right?

Thoughts?

Right, just tape them off or better yet slip a thin piece of heat shrink over the end and shrink it in place.
