Headlight turn signal pondering

IMO while some turn signal arrangements are better than others, any signal is better than nothing. A flashing signal used with a hand signal is better. What I find is using only hand signals is that a driver will pass me on the left when I signal to turn left, as though I am waving them on.

Lyn, I've been using the parking lights for turn signals for 30 years and find it satisfactory. I used glass dye from a stained glass hobby supplier to dye the bulbs amber. They show up well day and night.

Yep, I even had a cop confused.
I was at a 4 way stop sign waiting to make a left turn. The cop was on my right and making a left turn. He pulled beside me as he turned and asked what I wanted. As soon as he asked the question I guess he figured out what a left turn hand signal is and just said "nice car" and drove on.

Lyn, Bratton's offers just what you are talking about: part#20410.
I use it, works well. It is a VERY nice looking loom, with the light sw. changed so there is no parking light position

In the front i installed fog (driving) lights and use them for front signals, paid $20 at rhinebeck this past spring, smiled all the way home.
