I have a problem with my Headlight Sw. on my 34 sedan , when I turn the sw just a bit too far it pops off , the holding spring drops and the switch falls away , I can't figure out why , am I missing something ?? any HELP would be appreciated , thanks Barners ... Dale ..

Dale, make sure that the wire bail comes right up on the switch housing, there is a little dimple that it clips over.

there is a square rise in the base for the light switch. the light switch top plate has a cut out so the switch fits around the rise in the base. the rise should prevent the switch from rotating when the switch is in it`s extreme positions. Many of the square rises in the base are too low and the base of the switch can rotate over the square section causing the lock to fall off. This could cause the problem.

Terry... I did finally solder a small piece of brass over the rise on the light switch base and it solved the problem, giving it more of a key , pushing the switch up into the keyway , is a much better fit and when snapping the bail wire in place holds it very firm and no more problems , solid as a rock and no more movement... Thanks guys for your help... Dale ..
