I want to remove the 1928 headlights from the bar, however the bolt keeps turning. Inside the bucket a meatal strap runs across the head of the bolt and may only keep the bolt slightly in place.
Can anyone explain how I can remove the nuts from the headlight bolt?

Thank.

The stud in the headlight is in a slot in the inside plate which permits the headlight to be moved forward and back. Someone must have over-tightened the nut in the past and elongated the slot. To properly repair you may have to remove the rivits and repair or replace the inside plate.
