They look like later 30's lights but I don't know what from. What's up with that odd wiper? I've never seen that done before.

Tom- Haven't gotten to the wiper yet- just order some books yesterday on A's- what's odd about the wiper? is it the position of it?

Those are either aftermarket headlight assemblies, OR, they might be from a '39 or '40 Chevy or GMC truck ( which had those little outrigger parking lights ), in which case they should have the name "Guide" stamped in the bucket and possibly on the lens.

In any case, the original intent for the little light was a "parking light".

If those are indeed "Guide"/ GM headlights from a truck, they might be worth a few bucks to a GM truck guy....

The wiper looks like someone cobbled a JC Whitney aftermarket electric on the Ford...

Those lights are not gm truck, I had a set. The are not guide 682-c's either. Looks like the little lights were added to them.

WUUDIE, If you call Don Axlerod in Lynn, Ma., He will know what they are. He runs "Headlight Headquarters" found in many publications, mainly Hemmings. He's been doing this for as long as I can remember.

Sent him an E-mail will let all know what he says

Don Axlerod's feedback From E-mail

I am not sure!! They are probably off some type of post war truck. Maybe a 1940 or 41 GMC. The lights on top for the directionals or parking light are not stock to that light either. They are an add-on that you could buy at an auto parts tore. If a car had a parking light bulb as part of the original reflector and the car was changed over to sealed beams, they eliminated the parking light. So in order to stay legal they had to add an external one.
