Headlight Chime

Pre-flight = battery disconnect on, gas on, ignition on, start, lights on.

Post-flight = gas off, lights off, ignition off, battery disconnect off.

Low tech. works every time.

I am somewhat knowledgeable in electrical circuits. The schematic that I drew up and it is comparable to the drawing that Phred posted. BUT, I can't figure out the ignition switch circuit. One side of the ignition switch is hot to ground (using the test light) - turn the switch on and both sides of the switch are open to ground. Check both sides of the coil and they are hot to ground.

I can't figure how to kill the relay coil when the engine is shut off.

I will try to attach the drawing...

If, anyone has an idea, let me know

If you have a stock ignition system wired as Henry did you cannot
connect anything else to the switch.
