Karl, I recall all too well the Drake hood ornaments. Early days? They fit consistently. Later? Not even close.
I figured it had something to do with the plating process and the lack of quality control.
 
Again, I am very appreciated all the input. Now I am 1 piece forward in my trek to finish this project and get it on the road.'
