Headlamp Bulbs

I have converted my 1930 Model A to 12 volts and bought a new headlamp harness. THe Les Andrews Handbook says I need a # 1124, 32 Candle Power lamp.
I have checked at NAPA and they do not have an #1124 nor do they have a cross reference. Any ideas ???

You will probably have to get them from one of the Model A suppliers. That's where I got mine anyway.

In 12 volt it looks like 50CP is all that is available in standard bulbs. Of course pricey but the halogen bulbs will give you more light out put.

If you are OK with using a single filament, you can use a part number 1144. The specs are: 12.5 volt, 24.75 watt, 1.98 amps 32 candle power

Try the B-1125 "Brite" bulbs (125/75 CP) from Ron Francis, http://www.ronfrancis.com/prodinfo.asp?number=B%2D1125. I have them in my '32 and am very happy with them.
