Hi All,

The Treasure Valley MAFCA group is heading out to Wilsonville Oregon this weekend for the NW Regional Meet. We should have about 6-7 cars driving the route ad likely another 2 or so being trailered along

445 Miles one way.. Looks to be good weather and we all are looking forwards to the trip :)

Wish us luck!

Dave, if you want a scenic and more relaxed drive, cross the Columbia at Umatilla and come into Portland from the Washington side at Vancouver (205 south will bring you out pretty close to the meet). Much less freeway driving to contend with, and just about the same mileage. (471 Miles). Or stay on I-84 to Biggs Junction and cross the river there. (458 miles).

Are you signed up for the Aurora Antique tour? I'm heading that one; come say hello.

Ray

I agree with 700RPM. The Washington side of the Columbia is a nice drive. Much less traffic and still scenic. Stonehenge, Mary Hill museum and a winery or two along with many pulloffs to just stop and stretch your legs.

We are leaving tomorrow morning Via Yakima for some wine tasting. Then onto Goldendale, crossing the Columbia and staying with Greg and Shirley Weast At the Dalles. Then around the backside of Mt. Hood. Five couples total. Watch for the cigar smoke. :)

We're going to be following the S side of the columbia, south of I84 on the backroads around John Day, Mitchell and then around the S side of Mt Hood..

btw.. Skamania is one of my favorite little towns.. I lived in Vancouver WA for a few years after college.. Lots of nice folks.. Not sure if I signed up for the Antiques tour, but I will keep an eye out for you Ray :)

That Central Oregon country is beautiful. You'll have a great trip!
