Headers on a 39 ford

Bill, you triggered a "memory" I haven't recalled in about 50 years. I was really into flex pipe and bailing wire exhaust setups on my old cars!! And, yes, they did tend to let go sooner that I would have liked. It was a major break through when I learned to gas weld! Only problem was my pipe supply was pretty rusty.....funny how you can learn to flow welding rod into those blow out holes!! Looking back, I wish I'd spent more time on engine rebuilding than dual exhaust construction!!! But, it was really fun!! Thanks!!
