For sale is a 'Gord's Model A Head Puller'. I used this one to remove the head on my A. It worked really well! I had to buy some 7 inch long bolts to get my head off as it got stuck 1/2 way. The 3 1/2 inch (I think) long bolts were a bit too short to get the head up and over the studs on my engine.

Once a head is pulled up about 1/2", then wedges can be used to get the head the rest of the way off if there is resistance from the studs. So, in my opinion, the longer bolts would not be needed.

The vendors (like Mac's and Berts) sell a head puller/engine lift for $89.95. I am not sure why a used tool is worth the same. But, no pictures, so how can one tell.

Shipping via Fedex or UPS should be cheaper. USPS is too high for packages over a few pounds.

The head on my A would not budge once up 2 inches so, indeed, the longer bolts were necessary.

No you cannot purchase the 'Gord's' head puller for the price I am offering it at and Gord does not take Paypal. I can take payment and ship next day.

True, there are other alternatives but this is not the section to debate their merits. This post is for me to find a buyer of this head puller.
